Development in an Access/ environment for Business Intelligence objectives SSAS/SSIS/SSRS experience is preferable Someone with a BI background is preferred Someone who has done a lot of reporting (Hyperion/Oracle/Sql); Database development background Microsoft Access experience is also important Ultimately looking to move away from Access Crystal Reports is the preference, but good experience with a reporting tool such as Crystal Reports that could work out too
Data:  Financial, HR, Scheduling from an externally managed system, internal/external data, could come from Passport WPT Clarity, HR system, etc.
SSIS system will utilize BSSIS tool to integrate with the platforms BI Platform:  looking to bring in Oracle based product next year, but haven’t yet moved forward with the eventual BI platform (currently SQL server backend with SSIS, SSAS and SSRS)
Required:  SSAS and SSRS with SSIS experience being preferred Years of experience:  no set years of experience, but must understand the business requirements and tools that are currently being used; global understand of BI Development/Hands On:  70%  ||  Business analysis/requirements gathering:  30% Purpose of the position:  backlog of work (maintain in current platform) and transitioning into a BI platform to get more efficiencies out of what they are doing
Degree:  Prefers to see a Bachelor’s degree
Length of assignment:  1 year, but could be extended if business needs require
Maintain existing in-house developed methods to access, analyze, organize, and present data.  Work with stakeholders to identify user needs.  Plan, analyze, design, build, test, and implement solutions to address user needs.  Perform technical and analytical services involving database performance and tuning, and business process analysis and design to resolve data and reporting needs.  Administer a variety of database systems and applications including MS Access, SQL Server, Primavera, and WinEst.  Test and coordinate modifications to new or existing systems and applications.  Create and maintain reporting systems.  Troubleshoot and correct issues as they arise.  Ensure databases and systems are executing optimally.  Add new users to systems as needed.  Enhance or build data models as needed.  Create and modify job aids, user reference and/ or technical materials for existing or newly developed systems.
